While a guest at Casa Esocndida Bed & Breakfast, be sure to take in the 62nd Annual Traditional Spanish Market in Santa Fe. Casa Esondida is a SantaFe area B&B, which is located in historic Chimayo, NM (just 35 minutes north of Santa Fe). On July 27th & 28th, 2013, The Spanish Colonial Arts Society will proudly sponsor the 62nd Annual Traditional Spanish Market. Artists will exhibit AND sell Traditional Spanish art forms such as bonecarving, bultos, colcha, hide painting, ironwork, pottery, retabols, santos, straw applique, tinwork, weaving, woodcarving and more! There will be over 160 artist booths set-up on the historic plaza in Santa Fe. This is a rare opportunity to meet with the actual artists. The Traditional Spanish Market also features great live music and delicious food. The market is FREE to the public. Hours are Saturday: 8 AM – 5 PM. Sunday: 9:30 AM – 4 PM. On Sunday, July 28th, there will also be a special Spanish Market Mass to bless the artists and their work. This mass is open to the public. It will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi at 8:00 AM.
