Let Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast be your guide along the New Mexico Pottery Trail. Casa Escondida B&B is located in the historic village of Chimayo, NM (just 35 minutes north of Santa Fe, on the High Road). Northern New Mexico is home to many of the most talented ceramic artists. Each New Mexico potter creates their own unique and beautiful clay art (some decorative and some functional).  Spending the day rambling along the scenic New Mexico back roads as you journey from studio to studio, is a delightful daytrip while a guest at Casa Escondida B&B. What a wonderful way to experience the marvelous clay art of these gifted and artistic potters. Your daytrip along the pottery trail also allows you to meet and directly interact with many of the artists and maybe even take home a piece of New Mexico pottery! Some potters, like Green River Pottery, offer pottery workshops where you can learn a new skill or enhance your existing talents and perhaps even create your own piece of pottery. Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast has pottery trail maps available to assist you in planning your self-guided pottery trail outing.  We also have wonderful rooms available for your pottery getaway.
