Llama trekking, Casa Escondida B&B, NM hiking & walking tours

Take a llama to lunch while a guest at Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast! Casa Escondida B&B is a Santa Fe area bed & breakfast that is located in historic Chimayo, NM (just 35 minutes north of Santa Fe, on the High Road). Your llama trek is a great daytrip while a guest at Casa Escondida B&B. Llama trekking is not your typical New Mexico hiking vacation or walking tour! Wild Earth Llama Adventures offers their signature llama trekking day hikes. All ages and fitness levels can be accommodated.  It is a fun and memorable way to explore New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains or the Rio Grande Gorge, without having to carry heavy gear or packs. Your gentle, sure-footed llama will do that for you! In addition to your wooly companion, you will also be accompanied by one of Wild Earth Llama Adventures’ experienced guides. During your day hike, it is possible that you could see mule deer, elk, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, flocks of grouse, wild turkey or birds of prey such as eagles, great-horned owls or red-tail hawks. Bring your camera. You won’t want to miss a thing. Your “take a llama to lunch day hike” is only $99 per person. A delicious lunch is included. Children under 12 years of age are only $69. At Casa Escondida Bed & Breakfast, we have wonderful rooms available and we are happy to assist you with your “take a llama to lunch” reservation.
